We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these Conditions. You are deemed to accept the Conditions when you place an order for goods with us. Our contract with you only begins when we confirm acceptance of your offer to purchase goods from us. An order will not take place (and we will not be deemed to have accepted your order) until we have validated and confirmed your payment. Any communication, which you receive from us prior to validation, is not to be deemed as an acceptance of your order. In the event of any pricing error occurring within our website, within a written or verbal quotation, or contained within any fax or e-mail correspondence however received, all orders shall be deemed void.

We accept all major credit/ debit cards, cheques, wire transfer & BACS payments. In addition we accept official purchase orders from Local Authorities, Government, Education, Financial, Healthcare, & other official corporate bodies at our sole discretion.

All cheques, BACS, and wire payments must be cleared before any goods can be dispatched (please allow up to 7 working days for clearance). No goods will be dispatched until we are in receipt of the original order. For BACS payment details please contact our customer services department.

Ownership of the goods shall not pass to you until we have received payment in full (cleared funds).

Your order for goods is subject to stock availability. If we do not supply goods to you for any reason we will inform you of the situation and will not charge you for those goods, and will refund any money already paid by you for these goods. We are not liable for any financial loss incurred by you relating to interest payments, or loss of earnings, or similar gains you would have received on monies paid to us in lieu of any unfulfilled order.

All prices quoted or displayed are in UK pounds sterling and shall be the price inclusive of VAT, set out on the website at the time your order is placed. A delivery charge may be added and clearly shown in the orders section of the shopping cart before any online order can be placed, or as quoted by phone. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties. If due to an error or omission the price published for the goods on our website is wrong we have the right to terminate an order provided the goods have not been dispatched. We will try to ensure that all prices displayed on our website are accurate, but should an error occur we would inform you of the correct price and give you an opportunity to cancel the order.

Payment for goods must be made in accordance with our purchase procedure as set out on our website. All orders are positively credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch. We can accept no responsibility if any details you provide us with that are incorrect or if any order is held up as a result of incorrect or unsubstantiated details.


All new goods are sold with the benefit of a minimum 12-month manufacturer’s guarantee. Full guarantee details are available with your product, or from our customer services team. It is your responsibility to complete and return any purchase registration form enclosed with the goods to the manufacturer.

If goods are deemed tampered with in any way your guarantee will become void and you will be responsible for the costs of replacement and all shipping fees. If no manufacturing fault is found you will be responsible for the costs of replacement and all shipping fees. Wherever possible we will respond to your individual circumstances. We will not be liable for any transit damage that may occur on any product you have returned to us for replacement. We strongly suggest that you make sure you have used sufficient packaging to protect your product and insure against damage before returning any product for replacement. For advice on how to pack your goods safely before return please contact our customer service team.

The guarantee does not cover, accidental damage, modifications to, failure(s) not due to manufacturing defect(s), failure to comply with the original manufacturers’ conditions of intended use, any accessories supplied. We cannot be held responsible for any costs arising from unauthorized repairs to equipment during the guarantee period. Only the product manufacturer or their authorized service agents can carry out any guarantee work. Any unauthorized repairs or repair attempts will void the guarantee.

In relation to new goods the company will accept liability for defective goods only to the extent that the company is entitled to make a claim under the manufacturer’s guarantee and obtain from the manufacturer a refund, credit, repair or replacement of the defective goods.



Deliveries are usually between 8:00AM and 6:30PM pm Monday to Friday. (We do not deliver on public bank holidays and weekends.)

Orders placed between Friday cut off times and Monday cut off times will be delivered on Tuesday as we do not dispatch items on weekends.

A signature is required on delivery.  We are unable to leave goods which are unsigned for.

Please note our carriers cannot telephone prior to delivery and we cannot specify a time slot.

Flats & Floors above ground level.  In order to keep costs down the courier service that we use cannot deliver to floors above ground level, therefore items ordered will only be delivered to the ground floor of the house or ground floor entrance of flats or apartments.

If you place an order for a 6ft Super king mattress, please ensure that someone is available to help the driver unload the items at your house.

Accepting Deliveries

Please ensure that you only sign for the actual number of items you receive. We are unable to replace goods free of charge, if you have signed for the incorrect number of parcels. Also please check that you have the correct size mattress before you accept delivery, the dimensions are indicated on the package. If it is not the correct size mattress, then please refuse delivery.

Damages & Missing Parts

When you receive your parcel(s) please thoroughly check for any damage which may have been caused in transit at point of delivery.

If your parcel(s) has incurred damage, then please refuse delivery of the parcel(s) stating the reason for refusal and we will ship out a replacement immediately.

You can open the packaging to inspect a product on delivery.  If the driver cannot wait for you to carry out a thorough doorstep inspection of the goods you must sign for the goods as damaged.

Reporting damage after you have signed acceptance renders us unable to replace the damaged parcel(s) free of charge. Signing damaged automatically indemnifies and insures your goods with the courier against any damages that you may later discover.

Missed Deliveries

If for any reason you are not at home when the courier tries to deliver, they will leave a card with details of the consignment and how to contact the courier and arrange for re-delivery or, if it is easier, to collect from their depot. In this instance please contact the courier direct.

Re-Delivery:  If you are not available to take delivery on the agreed day, you may have to pay a redelivery charge.  The redelivery charges are typically £12 per item.

General Delivery Information

We will do our best to get all orders despatched as quickly as possible.

We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated time-scales (with the exception of weekends & public holidays), however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors and all goods and products are subject to availability.

If you are purchasing to replace your existing furniture we also recommend that you do not dispose of your existing furniture until your new goods have arrived and have been checked for damage.

We have no liability to you financially or otherwise for any delay in the delivery of products ordered.  We shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties claims.

We will deliver to other addresses at your request but stress that if instructed to do so you are agreeing that anyone situated at this alternative delivery address has your written authority to accept goods on your behalf. We will accept no responsibility for goods once they have been delivered to and signed for at a requested 3rd party address.

All delivery charges pertaining to Goods delivered within mainland U.K. are clearly displayed on the website checkout page.


In the unlikely event you should want to return an item to us we are pleased to offer all customers our 14 Day No Quibble Refund.

With our 14 Day No Quibble Refund you have 14 working days in which to decide to keep your ordered items or return them to us for a refund.

Our 14 Day No Quibble Refund will be processed only if;

  • The goods are still packaged in their original packaging and all seals are intact (unless the item has been signed for as damaged).
  • An attempt at assembly has not been started.

We regret Made to Measure Goods and European Sized Mattresses which are made to order cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable once the order has been accepted by us.

For reasons of hygiene we cannot refund or exchange opened mattresses or mattress toppers. Some mattresses – namely memory foam mattresses – will arrive vacuum packed, please do not open and unroll to inspect if the goods are incorrect. There will be clear identification seen through the packaging.

Returning Items

The Goods are to be returned at your expense (unless the Goods purchased were signed for as damaged by the receiver or a third party) and we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods.  We highly recommend that you obtain proof of posting.

We can organize the recovery of unwanted Goods on your behalf.  This is typically £40 per item and is the direct cost  for recovering the item.  This recovery fee must be prepaid.  A link for payment will be sent via email.

Please ensure that all products to be returned are clearly labelled with your name, postal address and order number.

Goods must be adequately packaged to prevent damage during transit back to us. If on receipt the Goods are found to be damaged due to heavy spoil during transit will seek to recover the cost of remedying the damage from the Buyer.

In the event that you wish to cancel your order and the Goods have already been dispatched at the date of receipt of your cancellation of the order you must refuse the Goods if an attempt at delivery is made.

Once the Goods arrive back at our warehouse we will authorize a refund.  We will issue your refund less our original shipping costs.  This is typically £40 per item and is the direct cost of shipping and recovering the item.

If cancellation of the goods is due to delay you shall be entitled to contact us and cancel the order.  Any monies paid in respect of goods which are not delivered will be refunded less our original shipping fees.   This is typically £20 per item.

If you do not return the Goods or fail to make them available for collection within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the Goods and a refund will not be authorized.

We regret Made to Measure Goods and European Sized Mattresses which are made to order cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable once the order has been accepted by us.


The goods we sell are of a technical nature and are continuously evolving and improving. Whilst we endeavour to publish as much up to date information as is practical about the goods, manufacturers and suppliers may change details such as ticking’s, fabric, materials, finishes, fillings, colours, fibres and dies without giving any prior notice. Therefore all images and descriptions are for giving an approximate idea of the goods only at that time. The Sleep Group endeavours to keep all images and descriptions accurate and up to date but cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies which may occur.

We shall not be liable to you for any failure or delay in performance of our contract. If it is due to an event beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, war, industrial dispute, fire, flood, tempest and national emergencies and if so delayed we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for performing such obligations.

These terms are subject to English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
